CASE STUDY:

Valley View Animal Hospital

On December 7, 2013 a 14 year old retired western pleasure gelding named Deesired Invitation “Arnold” owned by Fritz Leeman, suffered a life threatening injury. He tore (90%) his left front deep digital flexor tendon (DDF). He was absolutely broken bone fracture lame.

This non-weight bearing horse had ultrasound guided PulpCyte injections on December 7, 2013, December 23, 2013, January 16, 2014, January 21, 2014, and February 6, 2014. The horse’s lameness began to improve on December 23,2013 (second injection) and progressed to “sound at the walk” on January 21, 2014. He suffered yet another setback on July 30, 2015 when he became significantly lame on his support limb (right front). He now had limb support laminitis and was once more on the ropes. He got regional limb perfusion with PulpCyte cells and almost immediately improved clinically.

Although to this day Arnold has some ultrasonic defects in his left front DDF and struggles with quite significant right front radiographic abnormalities in his foot, he is happy, healthy, and functionally sound. We believe he owes his life to this ground breaking technology.
